Calculation logs

Once a Result Set or a project has been calculated, a file known as the calculation log is stored in the database and can be viewed. The calculation log shows calculation details which include all sensitivity and weighting settings, warnings and error messages. To view the log, go to the Result Sets Explorer, right-click on a Result Set Run and select Open Calculation Log. In projects, click on The View Log button on the Palantir tab on the ribbon.

The Calculation Log window contains two tabs. The Projects Information tab contains calculation data for each project in the Result Set. The Result Set Run Information tab contains the general information about the calculation process: CASH version, calculation location, time, price and currency scenarios, partners and so on.

You can copy the messages with the help of the context menu: right-click anywhere and select Select All and Copy, or press CTRL+A and then CTRL+C.

The buttons at the top of the window are used to display different kinds of information. Click on a button to display the information, and click once again to hide it.
